Day 20: Double Trouble
Last night I was woken in the night by caterwauling, screeching and howling. Shadows careered across my top floor window, accompanied by the amplified scratching and clawing of other worldy beasts. It wasnt a dream. I wished it was. I noticed how tense I was wide awake in this in between that belonged to other players, a rowdy, raucous night club of action that left no whisper of a trace this morning, just two cool and unpertubed black cats. Who us? Familiars? Where would you ever get that idea?
100 Days of Awe is a playful project I set up to bring my attention to awe in my daily life. I see awe as wonder, a mixture of amazement and respect. I expect the experience of awe to be about perception shifting awareness and that demands a reframing of some sort. I am excited to see what will awe me on this journey.
